This course is thorough training composed of "Theory" designed for the Japanese-language teaching competency test, "Practical technique" involving a study of class activities, and "Practice teaching" involving an actual guidance to international students. "A teacher's license" can be acquired upon completion of the 420-hour course accredited by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. TCJ is the gateway to success in becoming a Japanese instructor, providing thorough support from entrance into school to career guidance.
Anyone, foreigners learning Japanese and Japanese instructors, cannot bring about true international exchange if moving into a nutshell. A positive attitude towards deepening mutual understanding of national circumstances, customs and histories is important for international exchange.
Precise knowledge needs to be gained for that. Therefore, TCJ offers the "Adaptive Education" class in both the Japanese Language and Japanese Instructor Training courses. This class is based on case study to focus on troubles which international students face in everyday life in Japan, Japanese face in living with foreigners, and Japanese instructors face in living abroad. This class urges students to boost individual awareness of the lying problems and think about specific approaches to the problems. This is a completely unique class only at TCJ, which guarantees you a quantum leap in practical abilities, not available at any other school.
