I joined Tokyo Central Japanese School in Japan.Although I began life with a modest sense of fear of possible problems to face at the early stage as I was not familiar with the Japanese ways of living, the versatile teaching staff soon relieved me of the burden by their all embracing methods of teaching. In a matter of days, all teachers were our close friends and all foreign students in one closely-knit community. The students had the freedom to discuss with the teacher any gray areas whilst the lectures were proceeding in spits of which the allocation of a day, in a month to discuss issues with single students by teachers was a great help. Apart from teaching the Japanese language to students in this school lesson in Japanese culture, Japanese customs and social manners laws & regulations were imparted and wherever possible the students were provided opportunities to physically participate in their events. We were immensely profited by this exercise, In addition the school made our living very pleasant foreign students by organizing variety entertainments right round the year.
More than 4000 graduates TCJ have made the world their stages!
