Home study of correspondence courses is not for acquisition of practical teaching skills. How do you teach Japanese learners the difference between "I will do the laundry because my children are in sleep" and "I will do the laundry while my children are sleeping"? Teaching practice includes activities at "actual class" where you teach and "faculty room" where you get training in student management and the practice of business. Teaching practice occupies a large portion of the course. TCJ furnishes opportunities to student teachers to interact with our international students, as 300 students from all over the world currently study at TCJ, which is advantageous to job hunting. TCJ also makes internship available to college students.

The "education benefit plan", accredited by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, is that the government covers 80% of tuition at the maximum (up to 300,000 yen) for those who have been eligible for employment insurance for 5 years or longer, regardless of age. TCJ's Japanese Instructor Training Course (420-hour course) is subject to the education benefit plan, and 300,000-yen money-back is guaranteed upon completion of the course.
